Port Arthur, This city is decaying within its own boundaries this used to be a very vibrant city but the urban decay has now taken over. As you stroll through these pictures you might notice some very colorful names of some of the local night spots. In one of the pictures you can see the problem with the drugs if you look closely you can see, A syringe and crack pipe, this is a very quick showing of this particular hotspot that I have found 30 min. from the house never knew it was there, however it is very interesting, Port Arthur is also the home of Janice Joplin, You may remember Janice saying that she was not too fond of Port Arthur I can see why, it has to be worse today than it was in her days, Port Arthur is a city in Jefferson County within the Beaumont−Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area of the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 53,818 at the 2010 census.

Port Arthur was founded by Arthur Stilwell in 1895, on the western bank of Sabine Lake, and incorporated in 1898.[3] The Rainbow Bridge across the Neches River connects Port Arthur to Bridge City.
